At Plumbco, we've been supplying plumbing and heating products to trade professionals and the general public for over three decades. Founded on a commitment to good service, reliable products and knowledgeable advice, we've grown from a small business with one van and three staff into an established plumbing and heating merchant serving customers across Northamptonshire and beyond.

Our Story

Plumbco was founded in 1992 by Andrew Goodey and Karl Howell, two plumbing professionals who wanted to build a merchant focused on quality products, practical expertise and excellent customer service.

Starting with just one van and three staff, the business steadily grew as we built lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.

In 1996, we moved to Ise Valley Estate in Wellingborough, giving us more space to expand our product range and serve our growing customer base. In 1998, we moved to our current location on Finedon Road, Wellingborough, where we continue to operate today.

As the business developed, we expanded beyond plumbing and heating supplies. In 2004, we opened our Kitchen & Bathroom showroom to help customers plan and create their ideal spaces. The showroom was rebranded as Interiors by Goodey & Howell in 2013, reflecting its wider focus on kitchens, bathrooms and home interiors.

In 2014, we opened our Northampton branch on Gambrel Road, making our products and services accessible to even more customers. The following year, we expanded our Wellingborough site to support the continued growth of the business.

We supply a wide range of plumbing and heating products for everyday repairs, professional installations and larger projects. Our online range includes products from established manufacturers across categories such as heating controls, pipework, plumbing fittings, radiators and bathroom essentials.
