Application

Before applying LS-X, turn off the water supply and relieve the pressure from the affected section where possible. Apply the paste directly from the tube onto a dry surface and mould it into position.

Allow a minimum of 2 hours for the product to set. Curing time will depend on the thickness of the application, while spraying with water can help speed up curing.

For larger leaks and higher-pressure applications, Fernox recommends using PTFE tape or another suitable reinforcement tape alongside LS-X.

Important: Fernox LS-X is intended for external leaks and joints. For small, inaccessible internal leaks within central heating systems, use Fernox Leak Sealer F4 instead.
