Application

Water Hawk is suitable for general pipe jointing applications but is particularly designed for use with potable water. It can be used alone on pipe diameters up to 25mm. For pipework over 25mm, use with an approved reinforcing fibre.

For metallic threaded joints in contact with first, second and third family gases, Water Hawk can be used to the applicable BS EN 751-2 Class A conditions. Fernox also specifies use with water up to 7 bar and 130°C under the applicable standard conditions.

Always follow the manufacturer's application instructions and ensure the product is used with suitable pipework and fittings for the intended service.
