Efficient Heating with R290 Refrigerant

The Vaillant aroTHERM plus uses R290 refrigerant, offering a more environmentally conscious alternative to many conventional synthetic refrigerants. Its high flow temperature capability of up to 75°C provides additional flexibility when integrating the heat pump into suitable existing heating systems.

The unit achieves a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of up to 5.39, with an ErP energy efficiency rating of up to A+++. Actual efficiency will depend on operating conditions, flow temperatures and system design.

Heating and Cooling in One System

The aroTHERM plus features an integrated cooling function, providing additional flexibility throughout the year. When configured with compatible system components and controls, it can help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures during warmer weather as well as providing heating during colder months.

Quiet Operation and Flexible Installation

Designed with residential installations in mind, the aroTHERM plus has a reported sound level of 44dB(A) and carries Quiet Mark certification. Its anthracite grey casing provides a contemporary appearance, while Vaillant's Flexible Space Function supports installation in more restricted outdoor locations, subject to the required clearances and installation guidelines.

The heat pump can be integrated with compatible Vaillant heating controls, cylinders and system components, making it suitable for a range of heating system designs.
