Fernox Heat Transfer Fluid HP-5c 20 Litre

Fernox Heat Transfer Fluid HP-5c is a concentrated heat transfer fluid designed for use in air source and ground source heat pump systems and underfloor heating systems.
The high-performance formulation combines monopropylene glycol with specially formulated inhibitors and stabilisers to provide protection against corrosion, limescale and freezing. When diluted correctly, HP-5c provides frost protection from -4°C to -14°C, depending on the concentration used.
HP-5c should be diluted with mains water before use. A minimum in-use concentration of 10% is required, while the maximum recommended concentration is 30%.
It is compatible with materials commonly found in heat pump and underfloor heating systems and has a stable pH. Existing heating systems should be cleaned of sludge and limescale with a suitable Fernox Cleaner before adding HP-5c.
