The Fernox TF1 Sigma UB Filter is a compact 22mm magnetic heating system filter designed for installation underneath boilers and in restricted spaces where a conventional in-line filter may not be suitable.

The under-boiler design features a durable glass-reinforced engineering polymer filter body and a forged brass manifold, providing a robust solution for protecting heating systems from circulating corrosion debris, including magnetite.

A powerful neodymium magnet captures ferrous contaminants from the system water, while the engineered flow path is designed to provide high collection efficiency without blocking or restricting flow. The integrated three-way valve allows the filter to be isolated and cleaned through the drain point without dismantling the filter.

Designed to be installed horizontally on the return to the boiler, the TF1 Sigma UB is particularly useful where space is limited or pipework is concealed. Separate flexible or corrugated pipes and/or adapters may be required for some installations and are not supplied.

The Fernox TF1 Sigma HP Filter 28mm With Valves is a high-performance system filter specifically designed to protect air source and ground source heat pump systems from circulating debris and contaminants.

Using Fernox's unique filtration technology, the TF1 Sigma HP Filter is designed to capture a wide range of system debris, including magnetic and non-magnetic contaminants, even at the high flow rates typical of heat pump installations. It is designed to maintain low pressure loss and help the heat pump operate efficiently.

The filter is supplied with 28mm full-bore valves as standard, helping to minimise flow restriction through the filter assembly. It can be installed horizontally or vertically and is ideally fitted on the return pipe to the heat pump. Where space is restricted, it can also be installed up to 45° from vertical.

Cleaning is quick and straightforward through the drain valve, without needing to dismantle the filter or shut down the system. The sealed filter design also reduces ongoing maintenance requirements.

The TF1 Sigma HP is compatible with water, inhibited glycol solutions and Fernox system additives, with a maximum glycol concentration of 50%.

The Fernox TF1 Sigma Mini 22mm Slip Socket is a compact, high-performance magnetic system filter designed to protect domestic central heating systems from the damaging effects of circulating corrosion debris.

Its ultra-compact design makes it ideal for installations where space around the boiler is restricted, requiring as little as 105mm clearance. The filter can be installed on horizontal, vertical or 360° pipework and is ideally positioned on the return flow to the boiler.

A powerful neodymium magnet captures sludge and magnetite from the system water, while the engineered internal flow paths maintain high collection efficiency with minimal pressure loss.

The sealed design allows captured debris to be removed quickly and cleanly through the drain point without dismantling the filter. The filter can also be used as a convenient dosing point for Fernox chemical water treatments.
